Shipping Information
- Packages are drop-shipped from a warehouse - no invoice is included in the package. Questions or requests for duplicate invoices should be directed to info@lexingtonhorse.com or 1-866-898-4311.
- We use Federal Express Home Delivery to ship within the lower 48 states so you should receive your order within 2 to 5 business days. Deliveries to Hawaii and Alaska are by 3rd day, 2nd day, and overnight air only. Federal Express cannot ship to US PO Boxes.
- In most cases, orders received before 1 pm Eastern Time on business days Monday through Friday are shipped within 24 hours.
- Occasionally items are not in stock due to manufacturers' delay. If an item is back-ordered or out of stock, you will be notified by email.
- An email confirmation is automatically sent when the order is placed and is followed shortly thereafter by another email with the carrier's tracking number.
- Federal Express 2nd day air will be received on the second business day. For example, if you place your order before 1 pm on Thursday, the order will ship that day and will be received Monday. If placed after 1 pm on Thursday, the order will ship Friday and be received Tuesday.
- We also offer FedEx Express Saver (3 day), Federal Express Standard (3:00 pm), and Priority (10:30 am) Overnight Services.
- Reshipments or exchanges for items purchased with a special shipping promotion will be reshipped for $10.
- Saddle purchases are subject to an additional handling fee of $8 per saddle.
International Orders
- Orders that are shipped internationally incur a $10 surcharge.
- We ship internationally via the US Postal Service. We will ship via First Class Mail International unless you request Priority or Express Mail International. The least expensive USPS option is First Class Mail International but there is no tracking, no insurance, and a 5-10 day USPS estimated delivery date. The Lexington Horse is not responsible for items delivered using First Class Mail International. US Postal Service Priority Mail International has a 6-10 day estimated delivery time and Express Mail International is 3-5 days. Express Mail International is more expensive than Priority Mail International. Both offer insurance.
- The international flat rate is $35 and we will add or subtract to/from that based on the actual cost to ship your items. For an exact quote, please email info@lexingtonhorse.com.
- Duties, brokerage fees, and taxes for shipments delivered outside the continential US are the responsibility of the customer.
- Orders must be paid in US Funds by international money order or credit card.
Delivery Information
- Unless you request that someone sign for the package, the carrier will leave the package at the delivery address. It is your responsibility to provide a safe, physical address or to ensure that someone is available to sign for and retrieve the package.
- The Lexington Horse cannot be responsible for any lost, stolen, or destroyed packages which have been marked as "delivered" when tracked via the delivery tracking reference number.
Shipping Claims
- If you have not received your order within 10 business days from the day it was shipped, please contact info@lexingtonhorse.com or call 1-866-898-4311. If the claim is not filed within 10 days, the carrier will assume no responsibility.
