  1. My Tuff Rider’s 3 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Jan 2018

The price and customer service cannot be beat. They definitely keep you warmer then a regular tall boot but by the end of my ride my toes were still frozen!!
They are also very slick on the calf which makes it hard to hold your leg in place no matter how strong you are.
I like them and will keep them but I’m not crazy about them.

  2. Not great quality and wide is still tight. 3 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Oct 2017

My shoes size is 6 1/2 so I bought these in my size and they fit fine. I actually found them quite roomy, enough to fit thick socks. Unfortunately, I also have wide ballerina calves, so I got these in wide and they barely fit around my leg. If you are between sizes and have wide calves, I would recommend getting the larger size since it might provide slightly more space in the calf area. To get the zipper up, I have to yank and tug which caused the decorative leather piece attached to the zipper to come off. It was only attached with glue! It is too tight to tuck pants into but I'm hoping enough wear will stretch them out. I got these as winter commuter boots and they should do adequately but they are not high quality shoes. Since there aren't any pics showing the inside of the shoe, the inner faux fur lining goes all the way down to the top of foot area, but the foot bed is foam. No arch support, but enough room to fit a supportive foot pad at bottom. Bottom of shoe is made of rubber and seems like it should grip okay in rain or snow but haven't had the weather to test that yet.
